M390PM is corrosion resistant tool steel produced by particle metallurgy technology. Steel have good machinability in annealing state, after heat treating have supreme wear resistance, good polishability. Excellent homogenous structure with very fine carbides provides excellent wear resistance after heat treatment – edge retention (better than 1.2379 / D2 tool steel). Steel have very good toughness (impact strength).
