I do not make blades for knife making, I do not have a forge, so I chose a similar shape and a very popular brand of Puronvarsi. It is not my first and definitely not the last one. There is another one waiting for it :) It is bought HERE. The blade is always perfectly polished and hard to find the slightest error.

The knife is simple, there is not much need. Puronvarsi blade, Zebrano, stainless steel 5mm, tube 8mm.

Marking the guard angle. I redraw the size and shape from the original..

To bend the blade evenly, I made such a clue.

Drill by 3mm cobalt drill. The least favored activity, grinding 5mm stainless, it is a chore..

Drilling hole on blade, drill bit 4mm. I cut the right angle on a band saw.

Ready to stick. I was roughened with 40-grams and degreased with technical acetone and alcohol. The guard is polished from the front with a felt-felt felt disc. What is to be protected from the adhesive is covered with a covering tape.

Glued and 24 hours pause.

Hole for 8 mm stainless steel tube. I cut the approximate shape of the handle on the armor.

I first broke pretty roughly on disk 40. Then just slowly manually gradually 80-400-600 and constant control of shape and symmetry.

Peeling on a clean, felt disc.

Making a Puronvarsi blade is just a joy.

It deserves a pretty good sheat, but the next time.
