Product description
KYDEX is a very durable thermoplastic alloy.
Like BOLTARON, it is manufactured in the USA and can be shaped with the help of heat in the temperature range of 160°C – 200°C.
Heating can be done in a kitchen oven or with a heat gun.
It has unusual resistance to complete melting (softening) in the range of molding temperatures and can be shaped in classic molding presses, or it can be welded, glued or mechanically joined (riveted, screwed).
Like BOLTARON and HOLSTEX, it is suitable for making sheaths for knives and weapons.
