Description of steel
RWL 34 is a martensitic stainless steel produced by powder steel technology. It is a steel with a very high resistance. This consists in a finer dispersion (scattering) of carbides, thanks to which microscopic cracks do not occur when steel is struck, as is the case with materials with large clusters of carbides. For this reason, this steel has up to two times higher values of dynamic fracture toughness compared to other martensitic hardenable steels.
